TIME OUT - 2003
I am something of a voyeur, I can't resist watching people observing their very meaningful body language, glances between people in restaurants and café's and people alone and in a crowd. I sketch them, memorise them and wonder what their lives are about. They become very real to me when I put them in paintings. I love the atmosphere of trendy places and not so trendy ones, a constant source of material for fantasising and painting.
