Phespirit's first nights abroad were spent at the Hotel Salvapor, at Truhlářská 10, just a short distance from the Náměstí Republicky metro station. Accommodation was good and breakfast breadrolls were plentiful.

Of all things, the station announcements on the metro trains have stayed in Phespirit's mind the longest. They may sound mundane to the Czechs but to Phespirit's untrained ears they had wonderful lyrical quality: Malostranská - Staroměstská - Můstek .....

..... all beautiful.
