Phespirit goes to Iceland

LÆKJARTOG SQUARE

Phespirit passed through this small square opposite Parliament at some time between nine and ten on his first morning in Iceland.

With temperatures well down beneath zero his exposed face and ears endured a fierce cold-induced pain.

Typically, the streets were deserted.

THE VIKING SPIRIT

From this beautiful, simple harbour look-out Phespirit cast a stone into the Atlantic and made a wish .....

..... yet another forlorn hope.

THE BLUE LAGOON

On a tour around the Reykjanes peninsula, Phespirit sampled the:

"natural properties and healing powers of the health giving Blue Lagoon"

by getting in it, with snow falling, naturally.
