Travel in comfort and style, part 1:

Swissair became Phespirit's favourite airline when prior to take-off, one of their stewardesses walked the length of his plane offering a small bar of Cailler chocolate to every passenger.

He savoured his Cailler from the comfort of an Airbus window seat that seemed to have just that little bit extra legroom.

As the plane made its final descent through the sunshine towards Geneva, Phespirit looked out of the window and noticed that every house below him had a swimming pool. The reek of affluence was unmistakable, even before the plane had touched down.

This is a land of the rich; it's a wonder Phespirit was allowed in.

2 Lausanne

Travel in comfort and style, part 2:

When time is not of the essence, there's nothing finer than a spot of leisurely travel through picturesque scenery. Phespirit indulged himself with a three-hour crossing of Lake Geneva to Lausanne:

• 09:15 - Geneva
• 09:46 - Versoix
• 09:58 - Coppet
• 10:15 - Nyon
• 10:40 - Yvoire
• 11:10 - Thoron-les-Bains
• 11:43 - Evian-les-Bains
• 12:20 - Lausanne-Ouchy

He boarded the return ferry at 17:15 and lazily cruised all the way back again, arriving in port at 20:40. Lovely.
