Phespirit goes to Norway

Alas, Norwegian architecture does not get much better than this - the city hall at the head of the Oslo fjord.

Within this brick the Nobel Peace Prize is presented each year.

Phespirit loitered in front but did not get a prize .....

STATION AT FINSE

On taking the Oslo-Bergen line to Myrdal (changing for Flåm), Phespirit stopped at Finse - Norway's highest altitude station.

The guard advised passengers:

"Please beware of on-coming trains
when disembarking."

LILLEHAMMER

One stiflingly hot day Phespirit sets off on another train, this time to Lillehammer.

Outside of the Winter sports season, this street is pretty much all there is. Still, it is a pleasant enough place, where Phespirit enjoyed crinkly chips.
