Captured here is a magnificent view across the Southern Alps from a light aircraft flying out of Wanaka.

Sadly, not long after taking this photograph Phespirit threw up in a paper bag.

THE SHOTOVER JET

Phespirit, Netty and Debs fill the front row of the Shotover Jet.

Phespirit's position on the end seat made him best placed for the odd drenching and possible decapitation by low branches.

Way down in Queenstown Debs, Netty and Phespirit posed in front of T.S.S. Earnslaw, known as the 'Lady of the Lake' (the lake in question being Lake Wakatipu).
