Phespirit goes to Morocco

KASBAH IN RABAT More precisely, the Barbary Coast as seen from the Kasbah of Rabat on a roasting hot Sunday morning. Phespirit noted a total absence of women on this beach.
GATEWAY IN MEKNÈS Bab Mansour el-Aleuj, to give this imposing palatial entrance its full title, is said to be "the finest gateway in North Africa" ..... ..... which sort-of implies there's a better one in the South somewhere.
PHES IN FÈS Outside the ancient walls of the medina of Fès, Phespirit puts his best foot forward whilst clutching his souvenir clay bowl. This open space provides no clue to the claustrophobic squalor of the medina itself.
