Phespirit goes to France

Whilst standing on the top of the Arc de Triomphe Phespirit heard an English-speaking tour guide tell his group that from this point it is possible to see as far as the city limits in every direction.

Phespirit looked around and, lo, it was true.

In this way the guide demonstrated that Paris is a far smaller city than London, for example.

Phespirit never knew.
