The town is close to the Austrian and German borders, which has to be good for business. Apparently a top tip when bringing cheap goods in from the Czech Republic is never to stop at the duty free shops in no-man's-land. The border guards are more likely to stop and search the vehicles of people they have seen shopping.

Not that Phespirit condones tax evasion or smuggling.
