1 Bratislava

There is an intimacy about the historic centre of Bratislava which is lacking in the illustrious capitals of neighbouring countries.

The wider city - residential Bratislava - is an unpleasant reminder of all that was rotten with social developments in the old Eastern Bloc, but the small warm heart remains a cosy place to be.

Bratislava is no Prague, no Vienna ..... but why should it be?

All are lovely in their own way.
