A BEAR! A BEAR!

See? A bear, sniffing the contents of an old newspaper - one of many bears to be found loitering round rubbish bins on the outskirts of downtown Braşov.

Locals gather for the show, leaving out food to enhance their bear-viewing experience.

BRAN CASTLE (ENHANCED)

Photograph taken on 35mm film, developed onto 6"×4", scanned-in, zoomed-in, slightly sharpened, and touched-up to eliminate the excesses of JPEG pixelation .....

Close up, however, Bran Castle looks every inch the 625-year old Transylvanian fortress both outside and in, convincingly restored.
