JEBEL UM ISHRIN IN WADI RUM T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia) penned his most colourful prose when describing Wadi Rum in his epic The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. Looming large beyond the red sands is the mountain peak of Jebel Um Ishrin, as seen from the entrance to the Jebel Khazali siq.
