CHINATOWN

Whilst walking from Chinatown Point to the Tanjong Pagar MRT, Phespirit visited:

  1. the Sri Mariamman temple;
  2. the Fuk Tak Chi temple;
  3. the Thian Hock Keng temple;
  4. the Al-Abrar mosque;
  5. the Sin Chor Kung temple.

This photograph shows temple no. iii.

LITTLE INDIA

Here is the seediest alleyway in Singapore, with no road sign (sometimes referred to as Pink Street) and not marked on any map, it runs sandwiched between Rowell Road and Desker Road, parallel to them both.

Prostitutes occupy every gloomy doorway.

ARAB STREET

As American troops advanced on Baghdad, Phespirit advanced on Baghdad Street; and from Baghdad Street on to Kandahar Street and Muscat Street and the Sultan Mosque.

Phespirit was just in time for noon prayers.

No unbelievers allowed.
