Phespirit turned left, downhill to Hubel.

AROUND ZERMATT - LINE II - AT 2552m

The Chapel of the Holy Mary of the Snow is on the northeast shore of Schwarzsee.

It was built by three grateful Italian climbers who, whilst fearing for their lives in a terrible storm at Schwarzsee, had made an oath to erect a chapel to the Lord if they survived.

Phespirit clings firmly to the Spiritual World sculpture on the summit of Oberrothorn.

There is a steep drop down behind him.
