Phespirit's lively campaign of hiking around Kranjska Gora started inauspiciously as he twice lost both the trail and his bearings on his very first walk.
However, it all became worthwhile when he reached the magnificent Spodnjl Martuljkov waterfall. Sadly, it was too vast to fit in this picture, so instead here is an unpretentious river crossing lashed up nearby.

The target of Line II was the Pl. Dom Tamar mountain hut. More interesting though, was the Izvir Nadiže waterfall which burst from a rockface a short distance to the right.
Phespirit climbed all the way to its source where he took this photo along with several mouthfulls of delicious clear fresh water.

This is Phespirit atop Ciprnik, 1746m.
High on this lonely summit he encountered fourteen British hikers and their local guide, two Slovenian couples having a picnic, plus another two guys of indeterminate origin.
Isn't it nice to get away from it all?
