Phespirit goes to Italy

THE EASTERN END OF THE LAKE A bar / restaurant lies at the eastern end of Lago del Predil. It is a modest, inoffensive, unobtrusive little building, but Phespirit thought it spoiled his photo so he lined up this shot with a tree in the foreground to obscure its presence.
BENEATH THE SURFACE The waters of Lago del Predil - as per most rivers and lakes in the Julian Alps - look as clean as they are clear. And, indeed, they probably are.
HILLS AND MOUNTAINS TO THE WEST Very nice. NOTE: a photo obviously taken in the afternoon.
