Adlon Hotell (sic), Stockholm, is without doubt the best city hotel that Phespirit has ever stayed in. The building dates back to 1884 but the interior furnishings are all thoroughly modern, immaculate and comfortable. Phespirit stayed in room 111 which, amongst all the standard three star fittings, included: a Philips flat-screen TV, a mini fridge, digital / analogue data points (LAN, ISDN, modem), a voice alarm for use in emergencies, a kettle and tea-set, an iron and ironing board, and a thermometer directly outside the window.
In the bathroom: a hairdryer, scales, 'vanity kit', shea butter soap, body wash and body lotion.
It has a central location, a well-stocked breakfast buffet and a free Internet PC in reception - who could want more?
