Phespirit goes to Slovenia

Phespirit stayed for three nights at Hotel Orel, superbly located in the centre of Maribor. It is a mid-range hotel, recently refurbished, making it modern, clean and comfortable - surely at the top-end of three stars. He went for their Winter Package, which included .....

• three-nights accommodation;
• breakfast - self-service, hot and cold, a lavish selection;
• evening meals - three courses;
• a welcome glass of wine;
• free entrance into recreation centre Fontana - use of pools, whirlpools, saunas, turkish baths and fitness centre;
• free entrance to Casino Maribor;

..... all for a very-reasonable €165.03, including taxes.

Phespirit dined at Orel's sister hotel, the four-star Hotel Piramida, on two of his three nights. Here wine was supplied to him at €1.10 a glass - excellent value, outstanding hospitality.
