THE GHOST OF ST. GILES CHURCH

See how nature has eroded the portrait of a ghost - with eyes, nose, smiling mouth and raised arms - on this olde gravestone in the cemetery of St. Giles Church.

It can be viewed over the wall from Banbury Road, not far from the centre of town.

MESSING ABOUT ON THE RIVER

No rower, Phespirit, but on a summer's day there are worse ways to pass the time than to take a leisurely walk by the river, beyond the boathouses at Christ Church Meadow.
