A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT

Southampton University's Highfield campus has a little brook rolling through its grounds (behind the trees at the right of this photo).

This, plus the squirrels, and it being a nice sunny day when Phespirit first visited, was all it took to persuade him to enroll.
