Phespirit was born in Orsett Hospital at around 9:20pm on the 6th August 1969. Rarely has he returned to the village since then.

Orsett is the well-heeled Tory-voting part of Thurrock.

The hospital has been pulled down.

2 Tilbury

Phespirit in Thurrock, part 2 of 6

Tilbury is regarded as the poorest, roughest working class town in Thurrock, and consequently is looked down upon by the residents of insipid neighbouring towns.

Tilbury is the home town of both Phespirit's parents, and Tilbury is where they were living when Phespirit was born.

Phespirit is proud to be Tilbury scum.

3 East Tilbury

To the north-east of Tilbury is West Tilbury, and to the south-east of West Tilbury is East Tilbury.

The latter was Phespirit's second home and first school.

Straightforward enough.

5 Stanford-le-Hope

Phespirit in Thurrock, part 5 of 6

St. Clere's Comprehensive School, Butts Lane, Stanford-le-Hope, was where society educated Phespirit between 1980 and 1985.

After 1985, to spend time in Stanford usually meant an evening in the Regent Snooker Centre, the Rising Sun and/or the Village Inn (or The Inn on the Green, as it is known today).

Profound seats of learning, all.
